Gateway (planned)
A planned way to move assets from Ethereum-family chains into private TFN, and back, straight from your TitanForge wallet. It is planned to start with ETH and USDC on Base, with Robinhood Chain to follow. It is not built yet, and it comes after mainnet.
TitanForge is in development and no TFN coin exists. This page describes a feature that is planned, not software you can use. Until the gateway is built and audited, everything on this page is a plan.
What it is
The gateway is planned as part of the TitanForge wallet. Ethereum-family chains are the blockchains that run Ethereum’s smart-contract system. You choose an asset you hold on one of them and receive private TFN for it in your own wallet. The way back works in reverse: you send TFN from your wallet and receive the asset at an address of yours on that chain.
You need no exchange account.
Public, not private
The other chain stays public. Your address there, the asset, the amount and the time of each transfer can be seen by anyone on that chain. The gateway brings value into private TFN; what happens on the other chain stays public.
What is planned
The gateway is being designed under these conditions.
- No custodian
- Nobody holds your funds in between.
- Screened addresses
- Every incoming address is screened before anything moves, for example against sanctions lists. An address that fails the check cannot use the gateway.
- No admin key
- No admin key can change the gateway’s rules or pause it, and the team holds none.
- No gateway token
- There is no token to buy or hold in order to use it.
- Tungsten later
- Tungsten, the planned private stablecoin, is off at mainnet launch. Once it is active, it comes through the same gateway.
- Checks first
- It handles real funds only after mainnet, independent security audits and a legal review.
Where it stands
| Point | Now |
|---|---|
| Which chains come first | Base, then Robinhood Chain once a legal review of its terms allows it. The companies that run these chains can block addresses or transactions on them: that power is theirs, not the project’s. Other Ethereum-family chains may follow, each with its own contract. |
| Which assets come first | ETH and USDC. USDC can be frozen by its issuer, Circle: that power is Circle’s, not the project’s. |
| How it works in detail | Being designed. The design, its cryptography and its legal basis are still to be reviewed. |
| A date | None is set. |
When
After mainnet. Before the gateway handles real funds, it needs independent security audits and a legal review. Nothing of it is built yet, and no date is set.
